The AvScholas Publishing is constantly working at
improving our workshop and products. We greatly appreciate customers' feedback in helping us to improve our workshop and products' content, functionality, and enhancements. We release new versions of
AvScholars' products and number them according to the following scheme.
Maintenance Release is a product revision or patch that improves the
functionality of a product and does not contain any significant new features or
enhancements. Maintenance Release is not an upgrade. Maintenance Release
increments the number after second decimal point in version number, for example
3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.3 are maintenance releases of version 3.5
Minor Upgrade is a new Minor Version of a product
which improves functionality or adds new features to the product. Minor Version
increments the number after decimal point in version number, for example 3.2,
3.3, 3.5, etc.
Major Upgrade is a new Major Version which
significantly enhances a product with qualitative changes in functionality and
usability. Version is designated by a change in the number to the left of the
decimal point of the number appearing after the product name, for example,
Version 2.x to Version 3.x, where "x" means any Minor Version.
Each registered customer is provided with free Maintenance
Releases and free Minor Upgrades to a product version they purchased. Also
each registered customer is entitled to significant discounts for purchase of new Major Upgrade versions of any products.
AvScholars Pulishing solely determines the availability and designation of software
releases as a Maintenance Releases or Minor and Major Upgrades at its own
discretion.
How to Upgrade
We will send registered customers an email informing them of the upgrade to the software they purchased. This email will provide detailed instructions on how to download and
install the latest Maintenance and Minor versions of the
product. If there is a Major Upgrade to a software, registered customers will receive an email on how to receive 25% off the regular list price to upgrade their software and to receive their new registration codes.
However, if you already own a Site License, you do not need to pay for a new license. Instead, you can upgrade your existing license to the latest version of the Financial Aid and Scholarshp Workshop (eLearning Course) software at a significant discount -- 25% off the new license list price. You will also receive a new registration code to unlock and register your new software.
60 Day Purchase Protection
If a Major Upgrade version is released within 60
days from the date you previously purchased the same product from AvScholars Publishing,
you will receive the major upgrade FREE of charge. If
you fall into this category and would like to upgrade to the latest product
release; you will be required to submit a support request (support
ticket) at our Contact Us page.
In addition, once a next major revision (2.0, 3.0, etc.) of
the software you have previously purchased is released, you
can upgrade for 25% off the regular list price. The discounts are only available if you are purchasing the
next version of software you have already purchased,
otherwise, no discounts are available. For example, if you
have purchased version 1.x and now you want to purchase
version 3.x you have to pay the full price.
