Return Policy
Risk-Free Ordering
We want
you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Therefore we offer you a 30-day examination period
for books and videos, unless otherwise indicated.
At any
time within the 30 days of
receipt of your order,
you may return the book(s) or video(s) for a full refund
or credit of the purchase price, less the shipping
and handling costs. The
shipping charge is non-refundable, unless it is a result
of our error). If you were not charged shipping originally,
we will deduct our actual shipping cost from your refund.
Just follow these three easy instructions to return a purchase:
- Make sure
the item is in resalable condition. We
cannot refund or credit returned books or videos
that are marked or damaged. If
the book has marks, stains, dog-eared from use,
scuffed or defaced in any way, AvScholars will
not issue a refund.
- Enclose
a copy of your invoice. Please include
a copy of the original invoice (or the invoice
number and invoice date) with the returned book
or video so that we can issue the proper credit
or refund.
- Ship the
package to our returns department. To
guarantee delivery, please insure your package
or ship it by UPS. Returns must be sent postpaid
to:

- The
return must be prepaid at your expense unless it
is a result of our error. We will notify you via
e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed
the returned item.
Defective Books or Videos
Defective books or
videos may be returned for replacement or full credit.
They must be reported and returned within 30 days (15
days for videos) of the invoice date. To report a defective
book or video to our Customer Service Department, call

Returns

- Booksellers must
request permission to return books. Requests must
be made in writing and faxed to 801-516-0639 or sent

- Returns for full
credit must be requested within 6 months of
the original invoice date. Partial credit will be
issued for books returned 6 months or more after
the invoice date. Any returns received after 1 year
of the invoice date will be refused. Defective books
must be reported and/or returned within 30 days of
invoice date.
- All books returned
for credit must be sent postpaid to our warehouse (see
the returns address listed above). A packing list,
copy of the original invoice, and written authorization
must be enclosed. Full credit will not be issued
for books returned in damaged or used condition,
for books with price markings, or for books removed
from original shrink wrapping. Damaged books are
destroyed by our warehouse and are not available
for pick-up.
- Returns of superseded
editions will be accepted for a period of 6 months
from the publication date of a new edition or the
date that a title you have ordered is declared out
of print. Follow the above instructions for returning
an item.

Restocking Fee
Upon arrival of the returned item, a refund will be issued for the cost of
the item minus the original cost of shipping costs (if ncessary) and a 15% administration fee
or $5.00 - which ever is greater.
Any support or annual maintenance fees will be cancelled for all future
recurring charges. However, any paid annual support fees can not be
refunded, as these services are rendered immediatly after the time of
ordering.
The restocking fee is a combination of administrative fees along with online
transaction fees for VISA, Mastercard etc that have already incurred. This
amount is charged by our payment gateway. All returned
products must be in their original packaging, and licenses should be uninstalled
and must be returned in a never-used and resalable condition. In the case of
software and ebooks requiring registration codes, the respecitve software or ebook license(s) will be revoked and registration codes for the products will be automatically disabled. Customers will be responsible for return shipping charges of products that needs to be returned.

would like to return or exchange your order and you meet the criteria outlined
above, please contact us by phone or via our Contact Us form. Please include your
name, order date, and reason for return. We will then email you with a Return
Authorization Number and an address where to send the returned item to. Returns
sent back to us without prior contact will be refused. If you wish to cancel an
order after it has been placed but before it has shipped, you will be refunded
the entire amount less a 10% cancellation fee.
