Software: Licensing Options
Frequently Asked Questions
All of the Workshop's Software Licenses fall into one of the following
categories depending on the number of users and the user rights
granted by the License:
(a) Single-User Licenses.
(b) Multiple-User
Licenses.
(c) Site Licenses.
Single-User Licenses
The Single User
License permits a single copy of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop (eLearning Course) software to be installed on and used on one
personal computer by a single-user; or a single-user can register for a Single-User online account, which can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection. The software cannot be installed on a single computer to be accessed by multiple-users, under any circumstances. If multiple-users will use the software on
a single computer that the software will be
installed on, then a Site License needs to be obtained to use the software. More on

Multiple-User Licenses
The Multiple-User License is basically a way for an approved organization or educational institution to purchase additional Single-User Licenses of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop (eLearning Course) software or online account at a deeply discounted price.
With a Multiple-User License, an organization's administrator can give each student a copy of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop (eLearning Course) software to take home to install and use on one personal computer; or an administrator can register multiple students for their individual online account. Site Licenses
A Site License permits public or private schools, postsecondary schools, higher education institutions, libraries, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to install and use the Financial Aid & Scholarship Workshop (eLearning Course) software on their organization's owned- or leased-computers at a single site. A single site is a single building that has a single physical address. An unlimted number of users can access the software with a Site License. More on Site Licenses.
Personal student computers are not included in the
School Site License.
